In this expansion, the player leads the Vikings in the history of North America, starting with the New World and colonizing the New Kingdom of Mexico and the Aztec Empire. The Viking attacks the Aztecs, but also the Wampanoags, the Eskimos and the Algonquins. The player will need to colonize the lands, defeat the enemies and get involved in the political and religious problems of the continent. The Vikings will also be able to explore the Europe. The expansion also brings a new game type for HD and XBOX. HD+ multiplayer is based on the Civilization Revolution version of the game and the XBOX version uses the Civilization Revolution engine but the player can set the size of the map to 10,000.
