Salman Khan's upcoming film Race 3 was being produced under the banner of T-Series and D-Ranch, and was to be directed by Farhan Akhtar, a Bollywood film director and actor who has also acted in three Indian films: Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara and Dil Toh Piya.
As a result of the altercation, the production team ended up removing Farhan's name from the film.
The news broke on Twitter and was then made public by reports on the internet, with some media outlets (such as India Today) having later confirmed the reports. When contacted by Midsummer Murders, a spokesperson for T-Series issued a statement saying that their relationship with Farhan Akhtar had ended.

. However, according to one of the aides of Farhan Akhtar, there were no official statements from either Farhan or the film's producer Aanand L Rai and the reports were just rumors.

The only question remaining is whether Farhan will act in the third movie as well.
The issue of the foot-and-mouth disease vaccine was highlighted during the film's running time.
The movie has been shot at an actual cattle ranch in Holambi-Faringdon, New Zealand.
In an interview with Nokiapower, Khalid told Midsummer Murders that he is a huge fan of Salman Khan and that he was honored to be working on the film.
"I wanted to do it because I love his work", he told Midsummer Murders. "I am a big fan of him. He is my favourite actor. This was a project I really wanted to do."
Salman also had a small cameo in the movie.
Race 3 is scheduled to release on March 10, 2020, and was initially planned to release on February 15, 2020, but the release date was later postponed to March 10.
The film will be the third of four parts to the television series inspired by Indian mythology.
